What are Regional Coordinators?
There are 7 geographical regions within the BSG. Each Region has a team of Co-Ordinators members who are available to offer advice to branches and individual members, oversee the opening of new branches, organise fund raising for the regions with events such as exhibitions, workshops and skills schools. They also arrange 2 Regional Meetings with representatives from the branches and individuals within their region. The aim of such is to answer any questions, and give advice and guidance to branches. The new Area Co-Ordinator as from October 2021 now sits on National Committee and is assisting in the BSG restructuring plans.
Ursula Brown – Area Treasurer
My name is Ursula Brown and I have been a member of BSG Plym Valley Branch since 2010. I became a committee member to Branch soon after and have been treasurer and then chairperson for a number of years. In 2013 I offered to become regional secretary in which I enjoy. Through the British Sugarcraft Guild I have met lots of marvelous sugarcrafters from up and down the country and look forward to meeting them at various meetings I have to attend or at the shows.
I enjoy making most aspects of Sugarcraft but my modelling could do with help!
